Will Cooper ’14 competed as a sprinter for McMurry for 2 ½ seasons, before an injury ended his career. No longer able to compete, he became a strength trainer and assisted in coaching sprinters. He served as assistant coach with McMurry’s track and field program and later stepped into the interim head cross country coach position in 2016. After getting married, he left coaching to pursue a career in the outdoor industry.

How did you get started in a career in your current sector / industry?
After getting injured while running track at McMurry, I founded the Bass Club which was my introduction to the Outdoor Industry.
