McMurry's Community Commitment

In times of crisis, our frontline workers continually demonstrate their courage and commitment through their actions — serving and prioritizing others’ needs over themselves. McMurry appreciates these essential heroes and provides financial support for their families.

The Community Commitment program guarantees that at least half tuition will be covered for new full-time undergraduates whose families have chosen careers in service. Students qualify if they or a parent, legal guardian, or spouse is currently employed full-time in public service, as a first responder, in education, healthcare, or ministry, or with a nonprofit may qualify regardless of their major.

This important program honors those who chose selfless service above self, which is in McMurry University’s DNA.
