McMurry University Announces Mabee Foundation Challenge Grant
The J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation of Tulsa, Okla., has issued a $2 million challenge grant to McMurry University in support of the University’s $21 million Campus Center capital campaign. McMurry’s alumni and friends are being called upon to raise $3.7 million by January 11, 2023 to be awarded Mabee’s challenge grant.
McMurry University Welcomes New Executive Director of Development
McMurry University is happy to announce that Josh Poorman ’09 joined the Division of Institutional Advancement as Executive Director of Development on January 6, 2022. Poorman brings 12 years of experience in non-profit and higher education advancement to the position.

Alumni Association
The McMurry University Alumni Association is a non-dues collecting organization whose purpose is to connect alumni to the University and to each other, to provide valued service to members and students, and to support the University’s mission of preparing students for a life of leadership and service.
Membership in the Association includes anyone who has completed at least four (4) semesters of study at McMurry University.
